About Me

I was raised in a Christian home. I was taught that the Bible was the sole authority for our philosophy, principles and practices. If we went to church it was because the Bible said to do so, if we spoke in tongues, it is because there was Scripture for it. It was a way of life, not only for my family, but for millions of others.

However I have grown out of those notions. I highly doubt the veracity of the Bible as I have personally witnessed many of it promises to be invalid and or broken. I have experienced more kindness, love, and acceptance from "sinners" than I have from most christian in my life. There are those in my own family that refuse to speak to me and when they do it is to condemn me and wish hell fire and damnation upon me and mine.

 I have not seen the teaching of Jesus practiced by any christian I know, however I have seen and witnessed evil first hand and been subjected to it's wrath by an alleged 'man of God' and still have to deal with the arrogance of Christians on a daily basis.

So I find myself a skeptic, a cyclical, jaded one. Sure there are times when my writing will come across as if I believe the bible word for word. I do not, I do believe that millions do and so my writings will reflect that.

Beware, I write from my perspective and I express my opinions on various matters. Frankly, I do not care who agrees or disagrees, as I am not out to convert, convince or otherwise win the 'right fight'. I need a place to vent, to express my views and thoughts and this is how I have chosen to do it.
